Dr. Rashmi Ganesh specializes in Periodontics, which is a specialty of dentistry that treats diseases and conditions affecting the supporting structures of teeth (e.g., gums, bone, ligaments).

Dr. Ganesh received her undergraduate degree in dentistry and went on to pursue research in dental materials and biomaterials, where she became immersed in prosthetic materials and their bio/surface interactions. Desiring one on one care of patients, Dr. Ganesh went on to pursue specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers University). Dr. Ganesh has been in private practice ever since, where she enjoys helping her patients to improve their dental health with her specialist training and skills.

Dr. Ganesh practices a full scope of periodontal procedures including non-surgical and surgical management of all types of periodontal diseases, gingival grafting procedures, crown lengthening, atraumatic extractions and site preservation, ridge augmentation, sinus lifts, placement and repair of implants. She is passionate about helping her patients achieve optimal oral health.

On her free time, Dr. Ganesh loves to travel, listen to music, cook different ethnic cuisines, and spend time with her family members - including their COVID puppy. She is also fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi and Tamil.
